Meet our Founder
Lacey Worel has ample experience working as a nanny, a classroom teacher, a Special Education Case Manager, a Chief Operations Officer for an international volunteer matching platform and more. These roles have given her long experience and good perspective on the nanny placement industry.
Lacey has observed that nannies often spend as much time with children as teachers, yet they undergo minimal strategic vetting and compatibility matching. There is little or no professional development. All of this combined with often ambiguous job responsibilities and unstructured communication can hinder the nanny/parent relationship and result in resignation or termination.
Lacey has developed a framework to promote meaningful professional relationships. Her methodology and researched strategies will prioritize individual needs. She takes pride in bringing professionalism, care, and oversight to selecting the most important non-family figure in your child's life.
When she's not interviewing qualified nanny applicants and drafting contracts, she can be found trail running with her dog, riding her bike or experimenting in her kitchen. She's an avid traveler and has spent time living in the Andes Mountains of Peru, developing curriculum and programming for a preschool.
